Description
Hydraulic separator HydroBalance CP – 1"1/2 threaded connections
The Reblotech HydroBalance CP hydraulic separator (low loss header), code RBT-CP-112, is a hydraulic compensator with additional air separator and dirt separator functions, designed for heating and cooling systems where the generator circuit and the user circuit operate with different water flow rates. With male threaded connections 1"1/2 (gas, UNI EN 10226-1), it is the ideal interface between primary and secondary circuits whenever the flow on the user side is variable.
Three functions in one device
- Hydraulic compensation: hydraulic separation between primary and secondary circuits, with independent flow rates.
- Air separation: the vertical, low-velocity path promotes the rise and removal of dissolved air (air vent 1/2" F).
- Dirt separation: sludge and impurities settle at the bottom and can be easily drained (drain 3/4" F).
When anti-condensation protection is required, the partial mixing of supply and return inside the device raises the return temperature towards the generator, reducing the risk of flue-side condensation.
Technical specifications
- Connections: male threaded connections 1"1/2 (gas, UNI EN 10226-1)
- Flow coefficient Kv: 50
- Indicative flow rate: 5.0 m³/h at 100 daPa, 7.1 m³/h at 200 daPa
- Volume: 6 l
- Weight: 9 kg
- Overall height: 705 mm (body diameter DN100)
- Maximum fluid temperature: 90 °C; minimum: 5 °C
- Maximum working pressure: 5 bar (500 kPa)
- Body material: carbon steel EN 10255
- Finish: water-based primer, blue colour
Installation note: the flow rate on the primary circuit must always be greater than or equal to that required by the secondary circuit, in order to keep the supply temperature equal to the generator outlet temperature. Pressure drops of the primary and secondary circuits must be calculated separately.
